Common questions
How does Snapi work?
Snapi shows your photos and videos one at a time in a simple deck. Swipe to keep or mark for delete, then open Review when you’re ready. Nothing is removed from your library until you confirm there—so you can work at your own pace without surprises.
Do my photos leave my device?
Snapi is built for on-device browsing and cleanup. Your library isn’t uploaded to Snapi servers. If you use Share, you choose the destination in Apple’s share sheet. If some items are stored in iCloud Photos, Apple may download them when needed—that uses Apple’s systems and your iCloud settings, not a separate Snapi cloud.
How do I delete photos?
Swipe (or use the on-screen controls) to mark items for removal. When you’re ready, open the review screen, double-check the list, and confirm. Deleted items follow the same rules as deleting in the Photos app—including iCloud if you use it.
Can I undo a swipe?
Yes. Use Undo for your most recent swipes while you’re still in the deck. If you change browse mode or start a fresh session, undo history may reset—so take a breath before big changes. Items only leave your library after you confirm in review.
Why does Snapi need photo access?
Snapi needs access so it can show your photos and videos, estimate how much space you might reclaim, and remove items you explicitly confirm—nothing more. You can start with Limited Access and only show Snapi the albums or items you’re comfortable cleaning.
How we handle data is summarized on our Privacy Policy page—short, plain language, no tricks.
